The Shogakukan Japanese-Korean Dictionary, which enables the learning of basic expressions, and even one step further, to applied expressions, is perfect for beginners just starting to learn Korean. The dictionary contains 42,000 entries and 65,000 usage examples, mainly sentence examples. For the most important words, “basic expressions” that beginners should remember, “word usage” with detailed grammatical explanations, “correct usage” to understand how to use different words in translations, and “everyday conversation” are included to help beginners to write and have conversations in Korean. Additionally, Korean counters are also indicated for the main nouns. Further, large amounts of useful information such as reference articles, non-sentence information, notes on pronunciation, and supplementary articles, are to be found throughout the dictionary.
